Reading: Question Answer Relationship (QAR)

IN THE BOOK

right there - A right there question has the question and the answer using the same words but just in a diffrent order.It also has the answer in the text. For example if it ask you"how many bananas grow on a stalk?"In the story it would say. . .100 bananas grow on a stalk. -- A16

think and search - the answer is in the text. You need to'' think and search", or put different parts of the text together to get the answer. The answer could be within sentences, across paragraphs or even chapters or across books. -- H3


IN MY HEAD

author and me - an author and me question is not in the story but by reading the story you can tell what the answer is. Also an author and me question can be your opinion. --E12

on my own - The answer is not in the text. The reader needs to use their own experiences and ideas to answer the question and to make connections to the text. --H6
