As a class, we determined what independent reading should look like.
These are the expectations we expect from one another:
- Find a reading nook away from one another.
- Read silently to enable you and your peers to do your best thinking.
- Do REAL reading.
- Read 'Just Right' books.
- Select books you think you'll enjoy and abandon books that aren't working for you after you've given them a good chance.
